Vision Trip Recap
The 2018 edition of our Rwanda Vision Trip ran from Feb 1-14. The team had a chance to experience Rwanda—its past, the present reality, its natural beauty, and the future hope—in a short two weeks.
A key part of the trip was visiting our work in Rwandan schools. Time was spent in Gasabo District, where we have been working for several years, as well as Rubavu District, where we are just beginning to work with leaders. The team noted the stark contrast of schools before and after Wellspring’s influence.
At their final breakfast together, people shared their impressions and reflections in a single word. “Perspective.” “Progress.” “Healing.” “Joy.” “Flourishing.”

Mulumeoderwa is building a piano. It’s a new undertaking for the carpenter of 20 years. The finished product would be the first Rwandan-made piano. “This will be hard to make the first piano, but the second one? The second one will be easy,” Mulumeoderwa says self-assuredly as a shy smile slides across his face. Learn about Kigali Keys

Together we can be a catalyst for transforming education in Africa
Wellspring is a Christian organization working to empower the next generation of Rwandans through quality education. We believe we are uniquely placed to be a catalyst for transforming education and fostering vibrant communities that address poverty in all its forms. Why do we do this? Because we believe that every individual, no matter their circumstances, should be shown the same dignity and worth that Jesus showed us.
